Danilo Lazarević is a professional photographer and videographer based in Serbia, with a client portfolio that includes some of the most recognizable brands in the region, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, Powerade, and FK Crvena Zvezda among them. Covering everything from weddings and portraits to product photography, events, drone work, and interiors, his body of work is diverse, high-quality, and constantly growing. The website needed to reflect that level of craft and credibility while giving visitors a smooth, visually-led experience that lets the work speak for itself.

The brief

A photographer's website lives or dies by how well it showcases the work. The brief here was to build a portfolio site that felt premium and creative without getting in the way of the photography itself. The site needed to organize a large and varied body of work across multiple categories, support both Serbian and English audiences, and make it easy for potential clients to get in touch. It also needed to be easy for Danilo to manage and update as new work comes in, without relying on a developer every time.

What I built

Full website design and development

I designed and developed the entire website in Webflow, building a creative, visually-driven layout that puts the photography front and center. The design is clean and minimal by intention, the work is the hero, and every layout decision was made to support that. Typography, spacing, and structure were all handled to feel like a high-end creative studio rather than a generic template.

CMS-Powered gallery system

All photography across the site is managed through Webflow's CMS, organized by category including portraits, events, weddings, product photography, drone and landscape, and interior work. Each category pulls from its own CMS collection, meaning Danilo can add new photos to any gallery at any time without touching the design or layout. The gallery pages were built to be fast-loading and visually clean, keeping the focus entirely on the images.

Photography and video sections

Beyond the gallery, the site covers the full scope of Danilo's services across dedicated pages for photography and video work. Wedding packages are presented clearly with pricing tiers, giving engaged couples everything they need to make a decision directly from the site. The video section showcases his motion work separately from photography, giving each medium the right context and presentation.

 SEO and Google Ads campaign

Building the site was only part of the engagement. I also handled the full digital marketing side, implementing on-page SEO across the entire site and running a Google Ads campaign to drive targeted traffic. The results were strong on both fronts — Danilo ranked in the top 3 search results consistently for his key terms, and the ad campaign delivered solid returns in visibility and inquiries. For a freelance creative competing in a crowded market, that kind of search presence makes a measurable difference in the volume and quality of leads coming through.

The result

Danilo now has a portfolio website that matches the quality of the work he produces. It presents his full range of services clearly, handles a large and diverse image library with ease, and positions him as a credible, high-end choice for both individual clients and major brands. The bilingual setup opens the door to international inquiries, and the CMS means his portfolio is always up to date.
